The Dickens Street Faire, organized with pride by the Old Town Elk Grove Foundation for over 30 years, marks the traditional commencement of the Elk Grove Yuletide Season. This annual event is now in the caring hands of the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce.
The Dickens Street Faire is held on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving and promises a delightful experience for the whole family! Witness Santa's dramatic rescue by our esteemed fire department. Wander through Old Town, discover local shops, enjoy holiday music, explore craft and vendor booths, and socialize with your friends and neighbors.
Elk Grove Boulevard will be bustling, with over 145 arts and crafts vendors, commercial vendors, and community groups. Conveniently located in the Old Town Plaza, food trucks will cater to your culinary cravings. The day will be filled with free entertainment, including live music and performers, professional photo opportunities with Santa, Christmas carolers, and more. For our young guests, we have a special treat - a free kids' craft corner in Old Town Plaza, TINY TIM'S ALLEY, from 10 am to 4 pm.
At 5:00 p.m., the sun sets, and the vendors will close up shop. However, stick around for Christmas carols and Story Time with Santa. Please join us for the Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:00 p.m. Santa will flip the switch to illuminate the Christmas tree on Walnut Street.

Once you have submitted a complete application with all required documents attached in a single email, your application will be reviewed for approval.
Please note that phone calls and follow-up emails will not expedite the review process.
If your application is approved, payment links will be sent at that time. Booth assignments will be made closer to the event date.
Preference will be given to local craft vendors.
